He currently serves as Vice President of Credit Risk and Analytics at Golden State Bank, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the bank’s credit administration and enterprise risk frameworks. In this capacity, Zaven works across key verticals—including credit origination, portfolio risk management, strategic planning, and corporate development—ensuring that credit decisions are aligned with broader business objectives and regulatory expectations. He also leads the Special Assets Group, overseeing distressed asset resolution and the development of recovery plans. His work frequently involves regulatory interaction, credit policy development, and the design of analytics tools to support informed executive decision-making.

Previously, Zaven held a senior role at Wells Fargo in the Credit Resolution Group, where he managed a $4.5 billion distressed loan portfolio spanning commercial real estate, agriculture, aerospace, manufacturing, healthcare, and technology sectors. There, he developed deep proficiency in financial modeling, distressed asset recovery, enterprise valuation, and credit restructuring—skills that now serve as the foundation for the firm's consulting offerings.

Zaven holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.
